What is a Waiting List?
Being on our waiting list is the best way to stay connected and be among the first to hear about our upcoming Golden Retriever puppies. It helps us get to know your family and what you’re looking for in a puppy, so we can match you with the perfect furry companion. Our waiting lists fill up very quickly, especially for our red Golden Retriever puppies, which are in high demand.
How does it work?
At Peach State Goldens, a non-refundable deposit of $300 is required to be placed on our waiting list. We accept deposits for up to three males and three females prior to the puppies being born. Your deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your puppy.
Once a litter is born and we have availability beyond the initial deposits, families on the waiting list will be notified in the order in which puppy applications were received. At that time, they have 24 hours to submit their deposit to secure a puppy from the litter. This process gives everyone a fair opportunity to bring home a Peach State Golden.
A lot of time and care goes into communicating with families, sharing updates, sending photos, and guiding you through the adoption process. Your deposit ensures you have priority access to a puppy while also helping us manage the time and effort we put into supporting each family.
Once we receive your deposit, a contract will be emailed to you confirming your placement on our waiting list. Puppies will only be offered to other families once those on the waiting list have made their selections. We provide updates, photos, and guidance throughout the process so families feel informed and supported.
Selection of puppies occurs at the time of take-home, around 8 weeks of age!
How do I get on the waiting list?
To join our waiting list, you’ll first need to submit an application for approval. We review applications carefully and do our best to respond the same day, but you can expect to hear back within 24 hours.
Once your application is approved, you can secure your spot on the waiting list by submitting your non-refundable $300 deposit for the gender of puppy you’re interested in—up to three males and three females are accepted before the litter is born. After the puppies are born, families on the waiting list will be notified in the order applications were received. At that time, you’ll have 24 hours to submit your deposit if additional puppies are available from the litter.
