What is a Waiting List?
Being on our waiting list is the best way to stay connected and be among the first to hear about our upcoming Golden Retriever puppies. It helps us get to know your family and what you’re looking for in a puppy, so we can help match you with the perfect furry companion.
Families on the waiting list receive priority communication and early access to puppy selection before puppies are made available to the general public.
Our waiting lists fill up very quickly, especially for our red Golden Retriever puppies, which are in high demand. Joining the waiting list secures your place in line and ensures you’re included in updates, planning, and selection as each litter progresses.
How does it work?
At Peach State Goldens, a non-refundable waiting list deposit of $100 is required to be added to our puppy waiting list. Placement on the waiting list guarantees priority selection before puppies are made available to the general public. This $100 deposit will be applied toward the total purchase price of your puppy.
A significant amount of time and care goes into communicating with families, sharing updates, sending photos and videos, creating contracts, invoicing, and planning each litter. This deposit helps ensure families on our waiting list receive early access to puppy selection while supporting the time and effort invested in guiding you through the process.
Waiting list positions are assigned in the order deposits are received. Puppies will only be offered to families outside the waiting list once all waiting list families have had the opportunity to choose.
Once a litter is born, families on the waiting list will be contacted by PSG in the order in which families sit on the waiting list. After a final head count is completed and availability within the litter is confirmed, the remaining $400 of the total deposit will be due, bringing the total non-refundable deposit to $500. This full deposit is applied toward the final purchase price of your puppy, with the remaining puppy balance due at the time of pickup.
After the litter is born and the remaining deposit is received, a revised contract and updated invoice will be sent via email. Families will continue to receive updates, photos, and guidance throughout the process so they feel informed and supported every step of the way.
How do I get on the waiting list?
To join our waiting list, you’ll first need to submit an application for approval. We review applications carefully and do our best to respond the same day, but you can expect to hear back within 24 hours.
Once your application is approved, you can secure your spot on the waiting list by submitting your non-refundable $100 deposit for the gender of puppy you’re interested in—up to three males and three females are accepted before the litter is born. After the puppies are born, families on the waiting list will be notified in the order deposits were received. At that time, you’ll have 24 hours to submit your deposit if additional puppies are available from the litter.
